Ventilated facades

Ventilated façades are used to protect walls from the weather, improving the comfort of the home. 

Due to its 2 cm thickness, a porcelain stoneware X2 is a perfect solution for ventilated facades with hidden anchors’ system. Unlike other materials which are also used for ventilated facades, technical characteristics of porcelain stoneware ensure its
longevity and resistance to weather conditions. It does not change its colour or characteristics subject to extreme temperatures, direct sunshine, rain and frost.

And as a result you get durable elegant external walls covered with incredibly beautiful X2 products. The possibility of coordinated projects comes to life also for important projects of public places, being able to combine flooring with ventilated facades realized with X2.

The entire anchoring and support system of the slabs is invisible from the exterior.

The truncated cone-shaped dowels are inserted into the back of the slabs; these anchoring devices are placed near the sides so they can be slotted directly into the vertical profile.

Each individual slab can be mounted/removed independently and without the need for any particular processes to be carried out.

The structure is able to combat the action of the wind, and the thermal expansion of the various components is not an issue.

Italon X2 guarantees better hold of the anchoring dowels than traditional-thickness porcelain stoneware.
